Pomelo (shaddock)

ZK100.00

The Pomelo, formerly known as the shaddock, is a native of Asia. It is the largest citrus fruit. It bears a resemblance to grapefruit. The grapefruit is a hybrid of the sweet orange and Pomelo. The tree thrives in the subtropics, producing more than one crop a year.  Water once or twice weekly. Preventive measures for all citrus trees should include leaf miner, citrus scale, Aphids, fungi and caterpillars. Cuttings are suitable for rooting or grafting.

NB: Seedless citrus varieties may develop seeds when cross-pollinated with other varieties.
