New Zealand Spinach, known as Tetragonia tetragonioides or Warrigal greens, is popular in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. It is a beautiful, fast-growing creeper. The Leaves are harvested throughout the year and must be harvested regularly to encourage the growth of new leaves. Leaves are sliced into salads, steamed as vegetables and thickener for soups and gravy. Plant two plants for each family member. Grows well in pots and in the ground.
