Eureka lemons are used in fruit cocktails, marmalade, desserts and juices. The rind can be candied. Make lovely lemon ice cubes in the summer months. Like many citrus trees, it is drought and heat-tolerant.

Eureka lemon: dwarf tree, very productive with heavy branches laden with fruits. Less acidic than the local rough lemon, with a long shelf life. Hence it is the preferred lemon variety in many chain stores. Add compost thrice yearly or four times if it bears fruits continuously or if potted. Water once or twice weekly. Preventive measures for all citrus trees should include leaf miner, citrus scale, Aphids, fungus and caterpillars. Cuttings are suitable for rooting or grafting. The products may vary from the posted pictures.
NB: Seedless citrus varieties may develop seeds when cross-pollinated with other varieties.
