Bees are less active in cold weather. The windy days make it hard for them to collect pollen from flowers and return to the hive. The unfavourable winter conditions may force them to migrate in the winter months and return in the summer. However, we can make our gardens and farms more conducive for pollinators to have enough flowering plants despite many plants going dormant in winter.
