Hass Avocado in 2024
The Hass avocados were key highlights from last year. With minimal watering, they produced a significant crop over several months. The trees had a vibrant bloom that attracted bees while the citrus fruits awaited their turn. Although the dwarf avocado tree hasn’t grown much taller over the years, its branches have become thicker and more forked. Time has decreased the chance of alternate bearing, leading to heavy yields one year and low yields the next if fruit thinning isn’t done after a heavy crop. The Hass avocado tree requires less maintenance, but its output improves with time. The Hass avocado thrives in subtropical areas facing drought, occasional frost, and high temperatures, whether for home or commercial use. The gallery displays the Hass avocado in 2024.
