From flowering to maturity and harvesting

The Thai Dwarf Banana plant is a true dwarf, rarely exceeding 1. 7m. It is an ornamental variety that produces sweet, edible fruits. The banana bunch grows in the plant’s centre, making it very stable. The plants do not fall or break from the weight of the mature banana bunch.

The Thai dwarf is almost half the height of the dwarf cavendish banana variety, making it possible to grow in large pots (>125L). They are frost-tolerant and very prolific producers. They require less maintenance than the larger banana varieties.
