Are my raspberry plants dying?

The suitable varieties of raspberries are very hardy plants. They are resistant to many pests and diseases. They are unlikely to die if they seem dry in winter or early spring.  However, raspberries are temperate plants that go dormant (rest) in winter. They drop their leaves, and the canes appear dry. It is not a disease, nor are they dying. Here are a few tips on managing dormant raspberry plants in winter.
